About the talk
Lars spoke to manufacturers and trade businesses about why so many AI pilots stall once the hype wears off, and how small and mid-sized operations can turn AI into a real competitive edge. Attendees scanned into the BRDGIT AI Readiness Assessment straight from the slide.
What the room took away
Find your gaps before you plug AI on top. AI scales whatever you already have, including the mess.
Treat AI like a new hire. It’s capable but knows nothing about how you work until you give it context, training and a clear job.
Capture what your most experienced person knows before they retire. What happens Monday if they don’t show up is your real AI readiness score.
